October 2018 Client served with a Domestic Violence Petition in Merrimack Circuit Court. Attorney Keefe was able to have the PETITION WITHDRAWN after meeting with opposing counsel.

October 2018 Client served with a Domestic Violence Petition in Nashua Circuit Court. Attorney Keefe told the client to fight it, and they proceeded to a final hearing. At the hearing, Attorney Keefe cross-examined the petitioner to demonstrate that she was not telling the truth. As a result, the judge DISMISSED THE PETITION.

October 2018 Client charged with several misdemeanor counts in Concord Circuit Court and placed on supervision that included an ankle bracelet. Attorney Keefe filed a motion to have the supervision and ankle bracelet removed. After a hotly contested hearing, the judge REMOVED SUPERVISION AND THE ANKLE BRACELET.

August 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with shooting a gun inside of an apartment building – felony Reckless Conduct and Criminal Threatening. The client faced jail time. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate the case with the prosecutor so the client received a misdemeanor charge of Disorderly Conduct and no jail time.

August 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Drug. Attorney Keefe filed a motion arguing that the police illegally detained and searched the client’s car so that the evidence should be thrown out. As a result, THE CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

August 2018 Client arrested and charged in Plaistow District Court with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief. If convicted, he would have gone to jail on a previously suspended sentence. August 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with felony Possession of a Controlled Drug. If convicted, she would not be able to go to graduate school. Attorney Keefe demonstrated to the prosecutor that the police illegally stopped the client’s vehicle and illegally extended the stop of her vehicle. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to NO CONVICTION.

August 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault. Attorney Keefe refused all plea offers and set the case for trial. As the case approached trial, Attorney Keefe developed evidence where the accuser admitted she was lying. When the prosecutors learned of this, they DISMISSED THE CASE. The client faced years in prison.

August 2018 Client served with a Domestic Violence Petition in Nashua Circuit Court. He denied all of the allegations, and he could have been deported if a finding were made against him. At the hearing, Attorney Keefe aggressively cross-examined the accuser to show that she made many inconsistent statements about the alleged acts and had lied about many other things. July 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with felonies of Reckless Conduct, Second Degree Assault, First Degree Assault, and Conduct After an Accident. She faced multiple felonies and years in prison. After investigating and preparing the case for trial, the prosecutor agreed to a NO JAIL-TIME MISDEMEANOR.

July 2018 Client arrested and charged in United States District Court with three felony counts of lying on the application to purchase firearms. He faced up to 18 months in federal prison. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate the case so the client served on three months – a sentence WELL BELOW THE FEDERAL GUIDELINES.

July 2018 Client arrested and charged in Ossipee Circuit Court with Driving Under the Influence (DUI/DWI). Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the prosecutor could not prove that the client was actually driving the car, so the CHARGE WAS REDUCED to Negligent Driving. No license loss.

July 2018 Client arrested and charged in Nashua Circuit Court with Operation after Suspension and would be a Habitual Offender if convicted. Client at least one year of license loss and possible jail time. May 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with multiple felony charges of Sale of a Controlled Drug. The prosecutor wanted to send the client to prison. Attorney Keefe investigated the cooperating individual (CI) and showed that the CI was still selling drugs on his own. As a result, the client received NO JAIL TIME and pled guilty to only one possession charge.

May 2018 Client arrested and charged in Cheshire County Superior Court with felony Reckless Conduct involving a firearm. If convicted, he would have lost his job and the ability to possess a firearm. After discussing the weaknesses in the case with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe had the CHARGE REDUCED to a non-criminal charge of disorderly conduct.

May 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hooksett Circuit Court with Reckless Driving involving an accident. There was a video of the accident, and Attorney Keefe took the case to trial. He was able to show the judge that the client simply made a mistake, and the judge found the client NOT GUILTY.

April 2018 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with Simple Assault – Domestic Violence. The client could have lost his high-earning job if convicted. April 2018 Client served with Domestic Violence Restraining Order in Nashua Family Court. The client’s ex sought to prevent him from having contact with his child. After a two-day hearing where Attorney Keefe demonstrated the plaintiff’s many false statements, the client gained shared custody of his child. NO CRIMINAL CHARGES FILED.

April 2018 Client served with Domestic Violence Restraining Order in Merrimack District Court. Attorney Keefe prepared the case for hearing. At the hearing, Attorney Keefe aggressively cross-examined the plaintiff and showed her many false accusations. The Restraining Order was DISMISSED.

April 2018 Client arrested and charged in the Nashua District Court with DUI – 2 nd Offense. He faced up to 5 years of license loss and jail time if convicted. Attorney Keefe demonstrated the weak evidence in the State’s case, and he had the CHARGE REDUCED to Reckless Driving. The client lost his license for only 60 days and paid a fine.

April 2018 Client arrested and charged in Brentwood District Court with Operating After Suspension and Operating After Suspended Registration. If convicted, the client would have been certified as an Habitual Offender and lost her license for at least one year. March 2018 Client served with a request for a restraining order in Manchester District Court. Attorney Keefe and the client spent hours preparing to contest the request. At the hearing, Attorney Keefe convinced the judge to DENY THE RESTRAINING ORDER.

February 2018 Client alleged to have violated the terms of his deferred before the Nashua District Court. Client had been charged with additional crime while on deferred sentence. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate such that NO JAIL TIME was imposed.

February 2018 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court – North with felony possession of a controlled drug. Attorney Keefe was able to articulate to the prosecutor unconstitutional actions by the police during the stop of the motor vehicle. As such, the prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to a non-drug related misdemeanor with NO JAIL TIME. The client kept her job.

February 2018 Client served with a temporary Domestic Violence Petition in Derry Family Court. Attorney Keefe prepared the case for hearing. At the hearing, Attorney Keefe had the petition DISMISSED. The judge entered no finding of abuse, and no restraining was issued.

February 2018 Client charged in Lowell District Court with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Attorney Keefe conducted a vigorous investigation into the complainant and the allegations, and he prepared the case for trial. At the trial, Attorney Keefe had ALL CHARGES DISMISSED.

February 2018 Client received notice to appear at Bureau of Hearings to be certified as an Habitual Offender. Attorney Keefe investigated the underlying qualifying convictions, and he was able to amend one of the convictions to a non-driving offense. February 2018 Client arrested and charged with Operating After Suspension in the Nashua District Court. He faced a minimum 7-day jail sentence and being certified as an Habitual Offender. December 2017 Client arrested and charged in United States District Court (federal court) with multiple drug-related crimes, and government sought to have him imprisoned for upwards of 20 years and then deported. Attorney Keefe was able to convince the court not to deport the client and impose a much, much lower sentence.

Attorney Keefe negotiated with the prosecutor, pointing out that the police’s stop of the client’s vehicle may have been illegal, and he was able to have the charge dismissed with the client having to complete a substance abuse program. Attorney Keefe demonstrated the weaknesses in the state’s case, including the arresting officer’s failure to properly perform the field sobriety tests (FSTs), and he had the CHARGES DISMISSED.

August 2017 Client arrested and charged with Accomplice and Conspiracy to First Degree Assault (class A felonies) in Hillsborough County Superior Court – Northern District. Attorney Keefe investigated this large case and prepared it for trial. The prosecutors wanted to send the client to prison for five years. After picking and jury and about to begin trial, the prosecutors agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGES to misdemeanors.

August 2017 Client arrested and charged in United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire with Conspiracy to Distribute Controlled Drugs (a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence). Through negotiations with the prosecutors, Attorney Keefe was able to have that CHARGE DISMISSED, the client pled guilty to greatly REDUCED CHARGE.

August 2017 Client was arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South with two felonies, Issuing a Bad Check and Theft by Unauthorized Taking. Attorney Keefe investigated the case and demonstrated that the State would have great difficulty in proving the client had any intent to commit a crime. He was able to convince the prosecutor to DISMISS THE FELONY CHARGES and replace them with an innocuous misdemeanor charge with NO JAIL TIME. The client also avoided any immigration consequences.

August 2017 Client arrested and charged in Ossipee District Court with Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the client was not driving at the time he interacted with the officer. As a result, Attorney Keefe had the arrested deemed illegal, and the DUI CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

August 2017 Client was arrested and charged in Hooksett District Court with False Swearing (making a false statement on an application to purchase a firearm). Attorney Keefe investigated the case and was able to determine that the client did not make a false statement. The information possessed by the police was wrong. As a result, Attorney Keefe had the CHARGE DISMISSED.

August 2017 Client challenged aftercare requirements mandated by the Department of Motor Vehicles wanting her to do six months of alcohol counseling. Attorney Keefe challenged this finding and requested a hearing. At the hearing, Attorney Keefe presented extensive arguments against the DMV’s findings. As a result, the hearing examiner required NO FURTHER TREATMENT.

July 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with DUI – 2 nd Office, Conduct After an Accident, and Operating After Suspension. Client faced many years of license loss and jail time. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate a disposition with the prosecutor so that the client did NOT LOSE his license and received NO JAIL TIME.

July 2017 Client arrested and charged in Hooksett District Court with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She faced serious consequences, including involvement of DCYF in her family, deportation, and jail time. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate the case with the prosecutor so that the client was NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME, her residence status remained intact, and DCYF did not become involved in her family.

July 2017 Client had pled guilty in Derry District Court to Operation After Suspension without hiring a lawyer. Afterwards, she received notification that she was going to be certified as an Habitual Offender (facing at least one year of license loss). Attorney Keefe was able to vacate (cancel) her Operation After Suspension conviction, and he was able to reduce the charge to a non-driving offense. The client was NOT CERTIFIED as an Habitual Offender, and she did NOT LOSE her license.

July 2017 Client arrested and charged in Merrimack District Court with Simple Assault – Domestic Violence. The client faced a criminal conviction, losing his right to possess firearms, and the loss of his job. At the trial, Attorney Keefe had the case DISMISSED. The client kept his job, his hunting rifles, and still has a clean record.

July 2017 Client charged with stealing nearly $10,000.00 from her employer. Attorney Keefe aggressively pursued mitigating circumstances and contested the alleged amount of theft. Cases of this nature usually end up with a felony conviction and at least six months in jail. Attorney Keefe was able to obtain a misdemeanor result with NO JAIL TIME. The client was incredibly happy.

July 2017 Client arrested and charged in Keene District Court with Driving Under the Influence (DUI/DWI). Attorney Keefe rejected the prosecutor’s offer and took the case to trial. At trial, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the officer failed to note any signs of impairment prior to field sobriety tests and that the officer incorrectly performed the field sobriety tests. After a hotly contested trial, the judge found the client NOT GUILTY. No license loss, no fine, no classes, no SR22.

July 2017 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with illegal dumping. At trial, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the client did not dump the material but that somebody else had done that. The prosecutor agreed to DISMISS the charge.

July 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with Operating After Suspension, 2 nd Offense. Such a conviction would have meant being certified as an Habitual Offender (one year license loss) and jail time. Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE REDUCED so that the client received NO LICENSE LOSS and was NOT CERTIFIED as an Habitual Offender.

July 2017 Clients arrested and charged in Brentwood District Court with Simple Assault. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that the clients did not assault the alleged victim but instead they had been assaulted. As a result, the prosecutor DISMISSED THE CHARGES.

July 2017 Client arrested and charged in Derry District Court with DUI, 2 nd Offense. A conviction would have meant a three-year license loss, jail time, extensive counseling, and costly insurance. Attorney Keefe filed a motion to suppress, arguing that the officers had no reason to seize the client. As a result, the prosecutors agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to Reckless Driving. The client paid a fine, but he avoided all other potential very damaging consequences.

The client was adamant from the start that the allegations were completely false, and Attorney Keefe prepared for trial from day one. On the eve of trial, after winning many motions during the case, the prosecutors DISMISSED THE CHARGE instead of going to trial. The client faced many years in prison, public shame, and the loss of his home, job, etc.

June 2017 Client falsely accused of sexual assault. The prosecutor sought to have evidence admitted regarding what the complainant told a doctor about the alleged assault. Attorney Keefe objected and asked for a hearing. At that hearing, Attorney Keefe cross-examined the doctor and argued the issue to the judge. The judge agreed with Attorney Keefe, and DENIED THE STATE’S MOTION.

June 2017 Client arrested and charged in Merrimack District Court with Driving Under the Influence. Client refused the breath test, and Attorney Keefe requested an Administrative License Suspension Hearing to challenge the 6-month license loss for that refusal. After the hearing, Attorney Keefe had the 6-month license loss rescinded. The client KEPT HIS LICENSE.

June 2017 Client arrested and charged in federal court with Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycontin, and he was classified as a career offender. He faced 30 years in prison and had confessed to police upon being arrested. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate the case with the prosecutor so he did not receive the 10 or 20-year mandatory minimum sentences, and will only be incarcerated for a fraction of that time. The client was very, very pleased with the result.

June 2017 Client arrested and served with Domestic Violence Petition (restraining order). Attorney Keefe met with the client several times, located and prepared witnesses, prepared a thorough cross-examination of the complainant. At the hearing, Attorney Keefe convinced the judge to DISMISS THE PETITION. The client was able to get custody of his son again.

June 2017 Client arrested and charged in Lawrence District Court with Possession of a Controlled Drug. The police witnessed a drug transaction, the client admitted to it. Attorney Keefe prepared substantial materials showing all the client had done to better himself and address his addiction. As a result, the charge was DISMISSED.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged with Violation of a Restraining Order while going through a bitter divorce. Attorney Keefe and client took the case to trial in Rockingham County Superior Court. After aggressively cross-examining all of the State’s witnesses, the jury returned a verdict of NOT GUILTY in less than one hour of deliberation. The client walked out of the courtroom an innocent man.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with multiple counts of Simple Assault and Stalking. After investigating the case and meeting with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to have ALL CHARGES DISMISSED. The client is able to keep his job, maintain a clean record, and move on in his life.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged with multiple counts of felony-level sexual assault in Hillsborough County Superior Court. After months of preparing the case, Attorney Keefe was prepared to go to trial. As trial approached, Attorney Keefe pointed out the many inconsistencies and false statement in the State’s case to the prosecutor. As a result, the prosecutor DISMISSED ALL CHARGES. The client faced more than 10 years in prison, but he walked out of a court with no criminal convictions.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged with Operation After Suspension (subsequent offense) in Milford District Court. Attorney Keefe reviewed the case and entered into aggressive negotiations with the prosecutor. The client faced jail time and a license loss which would cost him the loss of his job. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate a non-driving offense that involved NO JAIL TIME and NO LICENSE LOSS. The client was able to keep his job.

May 2017 Client arrested by the DEA and charged in United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire (federal court) with multiple conspiracy and distributions counts involving a controlled drug. The client faced at least six years in federal prison. Through aggressive investigation and litigation, Attorney Keefe was able to resolve the case with NO JAIL TIME. The client went home to his family, maintained his businesses, and paid a fine.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with Theft (shoplifting). Attorney Keefe reviewed all the evidence and obtained the video from the store. The video demonstrated that the witness was lying. As a result, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE DISMISSED.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with a felony-level forgery and faced jail time and deportation. Attorney Keefe was able negotiate the case with prosecutors so that the client received a misdemeanor with NO JAIL TIME and he was NOT DEPORTED.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in Derry District Court with Aggravated DUI involving a car accident and a B.A.C. more than twice the legal limit. Attorney Keefe aggressively litigated the legality of the arrest, calling into doubt the admissibility of the State’s evidence. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to Reckless Driving. The client kept a DUI off of her record, sustained a minimal license loss, and paid a fine.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in Merrimack District Court with Operation After Suspension. If convicted of any offense, client would have lost her Commercial Driver’s License. Through aggressive negotiation, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE DISMISSED. The client kept her C.D.L.

May 2017 Client served with Restraining Order in Lowell District Court. Attorney Keefe prepared the client to testify, prepared a cross-exam of the plaintiff, and prepared exhibits. After a full hearing before the judge, the Restraining Order was DISMISSED.

May 2017 Client served with notice to appear for Magistrate’s Hearing in Lowell District Court to determine whether felony charge of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon would proceed against client. Attorney Keefe cross-examined the alleged victim and demonstrated that there was no evidence to support the charge. The complaint was DISMISSED.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in Brentwood District Court with Driving Under the Influence. Attorney Keefe filed a Motion to Suppress the evidence arguing the seizure of the client was illegal, and therefore all the evidence should be thrown out. As a result, the prosecutor REDUCED THE CHARGE to Reckless Driving. The client avoided a DUI and a crime.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in Lebanon District Court with Resisting Arrest and Simple Assault on a Police Officer. Attorney Keefe investigated the case and brought forth much mitigating evidence. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to DISMISS THE CRIMINAL CHARGES. The client pled guilty to a civil violation and paid a fine.

May 2017 Client arrested and charged in four separate courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Controlled Drug, and Theft. Client also had a suspended sentence hanging over his head. He faced anywhere from 10 to 25 years in prison. Attorney Keefe argued all of the cases and sentences to judges and prosecutors, and he was able to resolve all of the client’s cases with only 2 years incarcerated. The client and his family expressed great gratitude.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South with significant theft from retail employer. Client confessed prior to hiring Attorney Keefe. He was able to negotiate the case with the prosecutors to reduce the charge to a misdemeanor, avoid all jail time, and greatly reduce any possible restitution. The client was able to move on his life without a felony conviction, having to go to jail, or owe a massive amount of money.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in Lawrence District Court with Possession of a Controlled Drug (Oxycodone). Attorney Keefe aggressively investigated the case and researched the case law surrounding the search and seizure of the client. He was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that the client had a prescription for the pills and that the seizure of the client was illegal. As a result, the CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

April 2017 Client, a college student, arrested and charged in Dover District Court with misdemeanors Criminal Trespass and Simple Assault. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate the case to AVOID A CRIMINAL CONVICTION. The client pled guilty to a civil violation, paid a small fine, and was able to prevent this matter from affecting her future endeavors.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in Seabrook District Court with Operation After Suspension and Disobeying an Officer. A conviction of either would have made the client an Habitual Offender (minimum one-year license loss). Attorney Keefe was able demonstrate significant problems in the case for the prosecution, and he was able to negotiate the case to a non-driving, non-criminal offense. The client paid a fine with no other sanctions whatsoever.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in Merrimack County Superior Court with the felony of Tampering with Evidence. Attorney Keefe worked at great lengths with the client to get her into substance abuse treatment, and then he was able to convince her probation officer to advocate for her. He presented this, and other mitigating information, to the prosecutor. He was able to have the CHARGE REDUCED to a misdemeanor with NO JAIL TIME.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in Derry District Court with Failure to Report. A conviction would be devastating to the client’s career. Attorney Keefe took the case to trial, aggressively cross-examined the police witnesses, and presented significant arguments to the judge. After the trial, the judge found the client NOT GUILTY.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in Hooksett District Court with Driving Under the Influence. Attorney Keefe investigated the case, researched the applicable law, and raised legal issues regarding the legality of the administration of field sobriety tests. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to a non-criminal driving offense. The client paid a fine with a minimal license loss, thus avoiding a DUI conviction and all that comes with it.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in Derry District Court with Indecent Exposure for urinating in the woods on the side of the road. Attorney Keefe prepared the case and took it to trial. After cross-examining the police witness, Attorney Keefe presented additional evidence to the court. After the trial, the judge found the client NOT GUILTY. At risk of a conviction was the client having to register as a sexual offender. Attorney Keefe was able to avoid any conviction whatsoever and the registration requirement.

April 2017 Client arrested and charged in United States District Court with Possession and Possession With the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Drug. Attorney Keefe conducted a large investigation into the case to demonstrate to the federal prosecutors that the case was not worthy of prosecution. The client was able to AVOID A FEDERAL FELONY CONVICTION AND ANY JAIL TIME. He had initially been facing a possible five-year sentence.

April 2017 Client arrested and faced a motion to impose a suspended sentence in Rockingham County Superior Court after having been arrested during the suspended sentence. Attorney Keefe investigated the case, and he was able to present information to the prosecutor contradicting the charges. As a result, NO JAIL TIME was imposed. The client was able to keep his license and his job.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with Possession of a Controlled Drug and a major motor vehicle offense. Attorney Keefe developed significant information regarding the client’s background, and he pointed out the inconsistencies in the officer’s report suggesting an illegal stop of the client’s vehicle. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to DISMISS the misdemeanor and major motor vehicle offense. The client pled guilty to a civil violation and paid a small fine.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. She faced a two-year loss of license at the Administrative License Suspension (ALS) hearing. Attorney Keefe demonstrated at the hearing that the officer failed to properly swear to the form, and the hearing examiner DISMISSED THE ALS. The client did not lose her license.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged in Newport District Court with False Report to Law Enforcement. Attorney Keefe reviewed all the evidence, conducted an investigation, and prepared for trial. Upon presenting the evidence to the prosecutor, the prosecutor DISMISSED THE CHARGE.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with Operating After Suspension, was facing seven days in jail, and being certified as an Habitual Offender. Attorney Keefe prepared for and appeared for trial. Upon negotiating with the prosecutor, the State REDUCED THE CHARGE to a non-driving (non-criminal) violation. The client paid a small fine, kept her license, did not go to jail, and was not certified as an Habitual Offender.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged in Hooksett District Court with Driving Under the Influence. After investigating the case and negotiating with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe had the CHARGE REDUCED to a non-criminal offense of Reckless Driving. The client paid a fine and had a minimal license loss.

March 2017 Client, an attorney, retained Attorney Keefe to represent him in a criminal investigation. Attorney Keefe interacted with prosecutors and police, and conducted an independent investigation. After gathering this evidence, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the client committed no wrongdoing.

March 2017 Client charged with multiple misdemeanor offenses in Nashua District Court while having a suspended sentence. He faced two years in jail if convicted. Attorney Keefe prepared for trial on all counts. At trial, the prosecutors agreed to NO JAIL time with a plea to only one misdemeanor. The client walked out of the courthouse.

March 2017 Client arrested on a warrant out of Nashua District Court for failing to appear for multiple offenses. Her family hired Attorney Keefe who had her released with no bail. He then negotiated a resolution to the case with no additional charges, fines, or fees. The client’s cases were all closed.

March 2017 Attorney Keefe researched, analyzed, and prepared a 35-page New Hampshire Supreme Court brief seeking a new trial for a client wrongfully convicted of felony assault. He argued that the trial court incorrectly allowed in evidence that the client had assaulted the complaining witness in the past.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged in the Derry District Court with felony Theft. At the probable cause hearing, Attorney Keefe was able to show the prosecutor it was a misdemeanor theft at worst. As a result, and through negotiation with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE REDUCED to a non-criminal violation. The client kept her record clean.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence in Ayer District Court. The client’s breathalyzer result was .22 (almost three times the legal limit). Attorney Keefe worked with the client to demonstrate his commitment to sobriety, and Attorney Keefe had the Commonwealth agree to DISMISS THE CHARGE after a period of time.

March 2017 Client arrested and charged in Rockingham County Superior Court with Possession with the Intent to Distribute 20 Pounds of Marijuana. The prosecutor originally sought a five-year mandatory sentence. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate the case so that client has an opportunity to serve a very small amount of jail time.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Rockingham County Superior Court with a felony drug possession, violation of probation, and faced the imposition of a suspended sentence. Attorney Keefe demonstrated to the prosecutor that the officer’s search of the client’s car was likely illegal, and the prosecutor agreed to a NO JAIL TIME misdemeanor charge.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with Simple Assault. At the pretrial conference, Attorney Keefe offered substantial evidence that the client acted in self-defense. As a result, prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to a non-criminal offense. The client paid a small fine.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with Operation After Suspension. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the DMV had mistakenly suspended the client’s license. As a result, the charge was DISMISSED.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged with theft of more than $10,000.00. Attorney Keefe investigated the case and discovered that the victim greatly exaggerated the loss. Attorney Keefe presented this information to the prosecutor, and the charge was REDUCED to a misdemeanor

February 2017 Client arrested and charged with Simple Assault – Domestic Violence and Criminal Mischief in Derry District Court. Attorney Keefe prepared the case for trial. At the trial, the prosecutor chose to DISMISS THE CASE instead of going to trial.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with multiple felony charges including Possession of a Controlled Drug and felony DUI. Attorney Keefe researched, prepared, and filed several motions to suppress evidence. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to DROP ALL FELONY CHARGES. The client pled guilty to a misdemeanor, received a license loss, and paid a fine.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Ossipee District Court with felony Second Degree Assault. Attorney Keefe prepared thoroughly for the probable cause hearing, ready to challenge the State’s case. At the conclusion of the hearing, the court DISMISSED THE CHARGE.

February 2017 Client filed a restraining order against defendant, and had one filed on her. During a dual hearing where both restraining orders were heard, Attorney Keefe cross-examined all the witnesses and put on compelling evidence. After the lengthy hearing, the judge GRANTED the client’s order and DENIED the complainant’s order.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Lawrence District Court with Operating Under the Influence. After reviewing the case and entering into negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charge DISMISSED after a period of good behavior.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with Possession of a Controlled Drug. After showing the prosecutor that the seizure and search of the client’s car may have been illegal, the prosecutor agreed to DISMISS THE CHARGE.

February 2017 Client facing several felony charges in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South. The prosecutor sought to revoke the client’s bail for having contact with the alleged victim. At a lengthy contested hearing, Attorney Keefe cross-examined the witness and the police officer, and he convinced the judge to NOT REVOKE the client’s bail.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Middlesex Superior Court with Human Trafficking and Money Laundering. The district court originally set her bail at $75,000.00 cash bail. Attorney Keefe appealed that ruling, and had BAIL REDUCED to only $5,000.00. The client posted bail and got out of jail.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua with felony Possession with Intent. Attorney Keefe researched, prepared, and filed a motion to suppress the illegal search of the client’s car. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to a simple misdemeanor. The client kept his job and kept a felony off of his record.

February 2017 Client had restraining order placed on him in Gardner District Court. He hired Attorney Keefe to have it terminated. After a hearing where Attorney Keefe cross-examined the complainant, presented new evidence, and had the client testify, the judge DISMISSED THE RESTRAINING ORDER.

February 2017 Client arrested and charged with misdemeanor Cruelty to Animals in Lancaster District Court. Attorney Keefe entered into negotiations with the prosecutor where he showed that the animals did not belong to the client. As a result, the CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

February 2017 Client served with temporary restraining order in Nashua District Court. Attorney Keefe appeared prepared for the hearing. After cross-examining the complainant, the judge found that she was not being credible. The restraining order was DISMISSED.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. At the Administrative License Suspension (ALS) hearing, Attorney Keefe successfully cross-examined the arresting officer to demonstrate that the officer had no reasonable basis to stop the client and that he performed the field sobriety tests incorrectly. The suspension was DISMISSED.

January 2017 Client served with temporary restraining order, and Attorney Keefe requested a hearing to challenge that restraining order. After a hearing where Attorney Keefe demonstrated to the judge that the complainant was not being truthful, the judge DISMISSED the restraining order.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence in Hooksett District Court. After reviewing the evidence, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to REDUCE the charge to a non-criminal motor vehicle offense. The client avoided a DUI.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged United States District Court with Felon in Possession. He faced a minimum five-year federal prison sentence. Attorney Keefe took the case to trial. After cross-examining all of the government’s witnesses, and showing that the cooperating informant was lying, the jury found the client NOT GUILTY after only 50 minutes of deliberation.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged with multiple misdemeanor offenses, including Driving Under the Influence, in Nashua District Court. If convicted of any of them, the client would have gone to prison for one year because he was on probation. Attorney Keefe aggressively attacked the State’s case, and he had much of the evidence excluded. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to a NON-CRIMINAL, NO JAIL TIME resolution.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with prostitution. Attorney Keefe investigated the case and discovered that the police illegally recorded the client and then illegally stopped him. As a result, the client received NO CONVICTION.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged in Manchester District Court with felony assault. Attorney Keefe challenged the State’s case at a probable cause hearing. After cross-examining the arresting officer at the hearing, the judge found NO PROBABLE CAUSE.

January 2017 Client served with temporary restraining order out of Lowell District Court. Attorney Keefe prepared for the final hearing, and then cross-examined the complainant. After a lengthy hearing, the judge DISMISSED the restraining order.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including felony assault on a police officer. The prosecutor originally sought to have the client spend at least one year in jail. At the probable cause hearing, Attorney Keefe had the felony DISMISSED. Through further negotiations with the prosecutor, the parties agreed to one misdemeanor count.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged with Armed Robbery and Assault with a Deadly Weapon in Middlesex Superior Court. The parties argued before the judge for an appropriate sentence. The Commonwealth sought a five-year sentence. After the hearing, the judge agreed with Attorney Keefe and imposed a time-served sentence.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. At the Administrative License Suspension hearing, Attorney Keefe demonstrated through his cross-examination that the arresting officer did not have a sufficient basis to pull the client over. As a result, the DUI charge was DISMISSED.

January 2017 Client arrested and charged with felony count of Indecent Exposure. Attorney Keefe researched, prepared, and filed a motion to dismiss the felony charge. After a hearing, the CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with felony possession of a controlled drug. Through negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charge DISMISSED in exchange for the client’s successful participation in a drug treatment program.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged with a Violation of Probation in Rockingham Superior Court. The prosecutor sought to have her go to jail for one year. Attorney Keefe successfully argued to the judge to impose NO JAIL time. The client was able to keep her job and custody of her child.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with shoplifting. Attorney Keefe negotiated with the prosecutor and had the charge DISMISSED in exchange for community service hours. The client was able to keep her college scholarship and a clean criminal record.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in United States District Court with creating a fraudulent passport. Attorney Keefe successfully argued to the judge to DISMISS the most serious charge carrying a 5-year sentence, and he convinced the judge to release the client from jail.

December 2016 Client had restraining order issued against him in Nashua District Court. He hired Attorney Keefe, and Attorney Keefe requested a new hearing. After having a second hearing, Attorney Keefe had the restraining order DISMISSED. The restraining order was removed from his criminal record.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Framingham District Court with Possession with Intent to Sell (a felony). Attorney Keefe demonstrated to the judge that the facts did not legally justify charging the client with a felony, and the charged was REDUCED to a non-criminal offense that involved a small fine. The client was NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Manchester District Court with felony criminal threatening and resisting arrest (there was a standoff with the police). After conducting a thorough investigation, Attorney Keefe obtained video surveillance that showed the client was INNOCENT and the witness was lying. The felony charge was DISMISSED, and the prosecutor reduced the other charge to a non-criminal offense.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with domestic violence simple assault. Attorney Keefe quickly had the court change the bail conditions so the client could go home. He then convinced the prosecutor to DISMISS the charge. The client kept his job and had no sanctions whatsoever.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with resisting arrest and simple assault on a police officer. After cross-examining the officer at trial, the prosecutor agreed to DISMISS the criminal charges and resolve the case with a non-criminal charge of disorderly conduct. The client paid a small fine and kept her criminal record clean.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with Driving Under the Influence. After cross-examining the arresting officer at the Administrative License Suspension hearing, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to REDUCE the charge to the non-criminal offense of Reckless Driving.

December 2016 Client charged in United States District Court with conspiracy to distribute more than 1,000 pounds of a controlled substance after a lengthy undercover investigation by the DEA. Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor to DISMISS the most serious charge and a sentence of NO JAIL time. He was then able to convince the judge to agree to the sentence. The client kept his businesses.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Hooksett District Court with Operation After Suspension. Attorney Keefe investigated the case and was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that the DMV had made several mistakes and the client was not really under suspension. The prosecutor then DISMISSED the charge.

December 2016 Client appeared for a deferred sentence hearing in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South. He had not completed all of his requirements, and the prosecutor sought to put the client in jail. Attorney Keefe was able to successfully able to argue to the judge to keep the client OUT OF JAIL and give him more time to complete the requirements of his sentence.

December 2016 Client charged in the Milford District Court with possession of a controlled drug. Attorney Keefe researched and prepared a motion to suppress the illegal search of the client’s vehicle by the police. When it came time for trial, the prosecutor did not want to challenge Attorney Keefe’s motion, so he DISMISSED the charge. The client went back to college with no criminal record.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Rockingham County Superior Court with a violation of probation. The prosecutor argued to send the client to prison. Attorney Keefe was able successfully argue to the judge for NO JAIL TIME, and the judge ordered the client to be on the bracelet and participate in substance abuse treatment.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court – North with a serious felony assault. The prosecutors did not want to turn over certain evidence, and Attorney Keefe filed a motion seeking this evidence. After a hearing, Attorney Keefe convinced the judge to order the prosecutor to turn over all the evidence requested.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Fitchburg District Court with a felony assault of hurting her baby. At the probable cause hearing, Attorney Keefe cross-examined the detective and called an expert witness to the stand. He was able to show the judge that the injuries were not caused by an assault but were naturally occurring. The felony charge was DISMISSED.

December 2016 Attorney Keefe was elected President of the New Hampshire Criminal Defense Lawyers Association by its members.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence in Lowell District Court. After reviewing all of the evidence with the client, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to agree to NON-CONVICTION disposition, and the client avoided an OUI.

December 2016 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South with three felony counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug to an undercover agent. Through extensive negotiations, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to DISMISS ALL FELONY charges. The federal prosecutor sought to have the client held without bail during the pendency of the case. Attorney Keefe was able to convince the probation officer and the judge to release the client. After a thorough review of the case and then negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to DISMISS the Conduct After charge and REDUCE the DUI to Reckless Driving. The client paid a fine and had a minimal license loss, AVOIDING a criminal conviction and multiple major vehicle convictions.

November 2016 Client arrested and charged in Brentwood District Court with Operation After Suspension and felony-level Possession of a Controlled Drug. The client was a professional who could not afford to have any criminal convictions on his record. After an intensive investigation, Attorney Keefe demonstrated that the DMV made a mistake suspending the client’s license, and he showed that the trooper conducted an illegal search. November 2016 Client arrested and charged in a major fraud conspiracy involving selling luxury cars overseas. The government sought to keep many luxury cars purchased by the client. May 2014 Client received subpoena to testify before a federal grand jury wherein he may have exposed himself to criminal charges. Attorney Keefe represented him before the grand jury and ensured that the client DID NOT TESTIFY.

June 2014 Client arrested and charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua falsely accused of multiple felony counts of assault and was facing decades in prison. Attorney Keefe spent months preparing for trial, dissecting the prosecutor’s case, investigating a defense, and preparing to cross-examine the complaining witness. After a week-long trial where Attorney Keefe cross-examined the complaining witness for an entire day and caught her changing her story multiple times, the JURY FOUND THE CLIENT NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES.

June 2014 Client was charged in Federal Court with violation of his federal parole after testing positive multiple times for use of cocaine. The federal prosecutor sought to have the client incarcerated for two years. After convincing the probation officer to recommend a lower sentence, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the judge to have the client sent to a halfway house for six months, thereby AVOIDING ALL PRISON TIME.

June 2014 Client charged in Salem District Court with felony charges of child pornography. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the teenage client did not seek out the images, but had them sent to him by the teenage girls at issue. July 2015 Client arrested and charged with theft of a firearm in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua. After reviewing the evidence and conducting an aggressive investigation, Attorney Keefe was able to AVOID A FELONY CONVICTION and the client received NO JAIL TIME.

July 2015 Client arrested and charged in Derry District Court with conduct after an accident (leaving the scene of an accident). The police assumed the client was aware of the accident, but Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the complaining witness hit the client’s car while the client was away from his car. As a result, the prosecutor DISMISSED THE CHARGE.

July 2014 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with habitual offender that called for a mandatory one year in jail. Attorney Keefe was able to resolve the case so that the client suffered NO FURTHER LICENSE LOSS and SERVED NO JAIL TIME.

July 2014 Client arrested and charged in Merrimack District Court with attempting to purchase a firearm while under a restraining order. Attorney Keefe researched, prepared, and filed a motion to dismiss the charge because the restraining order was out of Massachusetts. THE CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

August 2014 Client was arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with shoplifting. October 2014 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with fraud. Attorney Keefe reviewed the evidence and was able to demonstrate that the client’s confession was coerced. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to DISMISS THE CHARGE. The client was able to keep his job which required a high-level security clearance.

October 2014 Client arrested and charged in the Lawrence District Court with possession of a controlled drug. Attorney Keefe was able demonstrate through his investigation that the police stopped the client’s car without justification. As a result, THE CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

October 2014 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with felony possession of a controlled drug. The client would have lost her job if convicted of a felony. Attorney Keefe negotiated the case with the prosecutor and REDUCED THE CHARGE to a misdemeanor. The client was able to keep her very lucrative job.

November 2014 Client arrested and charged in Rockingham County Superior Court with felony sale of a controlled drug after the police set up a sting operation wherein the client was supposed to sell cocaine to an informant. Attorney Keefe filed a motion to suppress arguing that the police acted illegally in many respects. After filing the motion, the prosecutor DISMISSED ALL CHARGES.

November 2014 Client arrested and charged in Goffstown District Court with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate the case with the prosecutor and have the CHARGE REDUCED TO A MISDEMEANOR. The client paid a fine and was able to regain over one thousand dollars taken from him by the police.

November 2014 Client arrested and charged in the Goffstown District Court with DWI/DUI. Attorney Keefe prepared to take the case to trial and arrived at court with the client ready for trial. Instead of going to trial, the prosecutor chose to DISMISS THE CHARGE.

November 2014 Client arrested and charged in Laconia District Court with DWI/DUI. Attorney Keefe reviewed the case and demonstrated that the officer illegally arrested the client. As a result, the police REDUCED THE CHARGE to a traffic violation. The client received NO LICENSE LOSS.

November 2014 Client arrested and charged in United States District Court with conspiracy to possess illegal weapons. Attorney Keefe reviewed all of the evidence in the case and demonstrated to the judge that there was insufficient evidence in the case. The client was facing years in federal prison, but he received NO JAIL TIME and was put on probation for a time.

November 2014 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with felony possession of drugs after she was arrested on an outstanding warrant and her car was searched. December 2014 Client and arrested by the Nashua Police and charged in United States District Court with accomplice to bank robbery. Attorney Keefe convinced the Nashua Police Department not to pursue a federal charge against the client. After being indicted in federal court, and facing a five-year prison term, Attorney Keefe was able to obtain a NO JAIL TIME sentence.

December 2014 Client arrested and charged in Merrimack District Court with indecent exposure. Attorney Keefe worked with the client to obtain a large amount of information about the client’s medical condition and work. With that, Attorney Keefe was able to prepare and present all of this information to the prosecutor. As a result, the CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

December 2014 Client had been convicted of many driving offenses and had been certified as an Habitual Offender. December 2013 Client was arrested and charged in Derry District Court with felony charge of receiving stolen property. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate to prosecutors that the charge did not amount to a felony, and the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. The client received NO JAIL TIME and a felony conviction.

December 2013 Client arrested and charged with felony criminal threating in Nashua District Court. After cross-examining the complaining witness and demonstrating he was not in actual fear of the alleged threat, Attorney Keefe had the charge DISMISSED.

December 2013 Client was convicted in Rockingham County Superior Court of embezzling thousands of dollars after confessing to the crime before retaining Attorney Keefe. The prosecutor sought restitution in an amount greater than $50,000.00. Attorney Keefe was also able to greatly reduce the amount of restitution the client had to pay.

September 2013 Client appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court on a deferred sentence wherein he had to demonstrate that he had not committed any crimes in order to avoid going to jail. Although the client had been arrested for reckless conduct involving a firearm, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the judge and prosecutor that the client should NOT GO TO JAIL.

September 2013 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with reckless conduct involving a firearm, disobeying a police officer, and illegal possession of a firearm. After conducting an exhaustive investigation into the case, Attorney Keefe was able to have ALL CRIMINAL CHARGES DISMISSED. The client paid a fine for a violation-level offense, avoided a criminal conviction, and kept his very lucrative job.

September 2013 Client was charged in Manchester District Court with simple assault – domestic violence. His bail conditions said he could not live at home. Attorney Keefe filed a motion to change his bail conditions, and the court allowed him to go home. Attorney Keefe also had the charged disposed of WITHOUT A CONVICTION.

Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor and judge that the Department of Motor Vehicles failed to inform the client that he was under suspension, and the charge was DISMISSED. The client then became properly licensed.

August 2013 Client had more than $50,000.00 seized by the federal government, alleging it was derived from drug sales. Attorney Keefe conducted a vast investigation, including many financial documents, and demonstrated to the prosecutor that almost all of that money came from legitimate sources. The government returned almost all of the money.

August 2013 Client was arrested and charged in Manchester District Court with disorderly conduct and disobeying a police officer. Attorney Keefe took the case to trial, and all criminal charges were DISMISSED. The client paid a fine for littering.

August 2013 Client arrested and charged in Lawrence District Court with felony possession of a controlled drug. Attorney Keefe was able to obtain internal police documents and demonstrated that the search was illegal. The client received NO CONVICTION.

August 2013 Client arrested and charged in Salem District Court with receiving stolen property. Attorney Keefe prepared and filed a motion to dismiss, arguing that the client had been charged in Merrimack District Court with stealing the same items and couldn’t be charged in both courts. The charge was DISMISSED.

August 2013 Derry District Court imposed a bail condition that the client would have to live under very restrictive conditions while the case was pending. Attorney Keefe filed a motion for a bail review in Rockingham County Superior Court, and over the prosecutor’s objection, Attorney Keefe convinced the judge to lift the restrictive conditions.

August 2013 Client arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with reckless conduct involving a firearm. Attorney Keefe demonstrated to prosecutors and the judge that the client’s conduct factually and legally could not amount to a crime, and the CHARGE WAS DISMISSED. The client was able to keep his gun.

August 2013 Client was arrested and charged in the Derry District Court with simple assault – domestic violence and several other crimes. Attorney Keefe prepared the case for trial including several legal arguments. After the first witness testified, Attorney Keefe moved to dismiss the case on a legal technicality, and the judge DISMISSED THE CASE.

July 2013 Client arrested on a warrant for possession with intent to distribute a controlled drug, and the prosecutor sought to have him held on $10,000.00 bail. After researching and preparing for the bail argument in Milford District Court, Attorney Keefe had the client’s BAIL REDUCED to personal recognizance.

July 2013 Client charged with DWI, second offense and aggravated DWI in Milford District Court. Client took breath test and blew .18 (more than 2x the legal limit). Attorney Keefe demonstrated possible technical deficiencies with the breath test, and he negotiated the case to a DWI. The client AVOIDED JAIL and a multi-year license loss.

July 2013 Teenage client arrested and charged with DWI in Candia District Court. Such a conviction would have damaged his career goals. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate a disposition that resulted in NO CONVICTION FOR DWI, had a minimal license loss, and allowed the client to pursue his career.

July 2013 Client arrested and charged with several counts of simple assault and violation of her probation in Goffstown District Court. After meeting with the client and investigating the case, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate the client’s innocence to the prosecutor, and the charges and probation violation were DISMISSED.

July 2013 Client was charged in Lawrence District Court with harassment. After conducting extensive legal research, Attorney Keefe filed a motion to dismiss the charge. After arguing before the court, the CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.

July 2013 Client charged with felony theft in Nashua District Court. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate the extenuating and mitigating circumstances of the case, as well as the legal problems, and convinced prosecutors to DROP THE FELONY CHARGE.

July 2013 Client charged in Lancaster District Court with Reckless Driving. Client had a CDL and he would have lost his job if convicted. Attorney Keefe took the case to trial and obtained a VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY.

June 2013 Client was arrested and charged in Milford District Court with felony-level theft. Attorney Keefe prepared and filed a Motion to Suppress Evidence, and the court threw out most of the State’s evidence. As a result, the client received NO CONVICTION and kept his criminal record clean.

June 2013 Client was charged in Derry District Court with burglary and receiving stolen property. Attorney Keefe retained the services of an experienced investigator, and through their joint work they were able to establish that the client did not commit the burglary and did not know the property was stolen. FELONY CHARGES WERE DISMISSED.

June 2013 Client was arrested and charged in the Nashua District Court with simple assault and criminal threatening. After reviewing the police reports and speaking with witnesses, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate the client acted in self-defense. As a result, all charges were disposed of WITHOUT ANY CONVICTION.

June 2013 Client was arrested for felony-level possession of a controlled drug in Milford District Court. The prosecutor sought to have the client held on $10,000.00 cash bail. After arguing the client’s case to the judge, the judge RELEASED THE CLIENT on personal recognizance bail. He was able to get out of jail and go home to his family.

June 2013 Client charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court with more than 10 counts of criminal mischief alleging over $10,000.00 in damage. Attorney Keefe investigated the case, challenged the total damage amount, and negotiated a settlement with the prosecutor that resulted in 9 counts being dismissed and a much lower damage amount. June 2013 Client charged in Rockingham County Superior Court with reckless conduct and second degree assault involving the discharge of a firearm. The prosecutor originally wanted to send the client to prison for five years. Attorney Keefe was able to negotiate a reduced charge and a short jail sentence so the client could get back to his family and job.

June 2013 Client was arrested and charged in Nashua District Court with felony-level theft and being a fugitive from justice. Prosecutors sought to have his bail set at $35,000.00 cash. May 2013 Client charged in Nashua District Court with felony-level riot. After meeting with client, reviewing the case, and demonstrating to prosecutors that they could not succeed on the subject charge, Attorney Keefe had the charge PLACED ON FILE WITHOUT A FINDING. This resulted in no conviction for the client.

May 2013 Client charged in Dover District Court with felony-level possession of a controlled drug. After demonstrating at a probable cause hearing that the search of his car was likely illegal, Attorney Keefe convinced prosecutors to dispose of the case WITHOUT A CONVICTION. The client kept his six-figure job.

May 2013 Client charged with DWI in Lancaster District Court. After demonstrating to the court and prosecutor that the prosecutor could not prove client was driving at the time of the alleged offense, Attorney Keefe had the CHARGE REDUCED to negligent driving. April 2013 Client charged in Nashua District Court for simple assault and criminal mischief. A conviction would have resulted in the client being certified as a Habitual Offender. February 2013 Client charged in United States District Court with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine. After meeting with the client, reviewing the FBI reports, and meeting with the prosecutor, ALL CHARGES WERE DISMISSED.

February 2013 Client arrested for DWI and refused the breath test. At the Administrative License Suspension hearing, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate, through cross-examination of the arresting officer, that the officer could not prove the client was operating the motor vehicle. The client AVOIDED A TWO-YEAR LOSS OF LICENSE.

February 2013 Client charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South with multiple felony-level counts of sale of a controlled drug to a cooperating informant. After demonstrating to the prosecutor the client’s severe drug addiction and getting the client into a rehabilitation facility, the prosecutor agreed to DROP ALL FELONY CHARGES. The client was convicted of one misdemeanor and avoided having a felony on his record.

February 2013 Client charged with DWI in Nashua District Court. Attorney Keefe investigated the case and prepared for trial. At the trial, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charged of DWI DISMISSED. The client paid a fine for a reduced offense and avoided a criminal record.

February 2013 Client was called before the Bureau of Hearings to determine if he could keep his professional license after he had been arrested. Attorney Keefe prepared the case and made arguments to the hearing officer. At the conclusion of the hearing, the hearing officer decided to allow the CLIENT TO KEEP HIS LICENSE.

January 2013 Client charged in Milford District Court with possession of marijuana. After demonstrating to the prosecutor that the officer’s actions constituted an unconstitutional search, the prosecutor agreed to DISMISS the charge.

January 2013 Client charged in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South with DWI and possession of cocaine. After a thorough investigation into the case and preparing the case for trial, the prosecutor DISMISSED ALL CHARGES. The client was able to keep his job, his car, and his home.

January 2013 Client charged with felony-level second degree assault after getting into a fight on his college campus. After reviewing the police reports and conducting his investigation, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE REDUCED to simple assault with NO JAIL TIME.

January 2013 Client was summoned to the Department of Motor Vehicles for a hearing to determine if she should be declared a Habitual Offender. Attorney Keefe represented the client at the hearing. After demonstrating to prosecutors that they would not likely achieve a guilty verdict on that charge, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE REDUCED to a violation-level offense. January 2013 Client charged in Candia District Court with DWI. After successfully suppressing almost all of the evidence, Attorney Keefe had the CHARGE REDUCED to negligent driving. The client did not lose his license and paid a small fine.

January 2013 Attorney Keefe represented client at a deferred sentence hearing in Hillsborough County Superior Court – South. Client had been arrested for escape during the sentence, but Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor and judge not to impose the sentence. This kept the client from going to jail.

January 2013 Client charged with felony-level criminal threatening in Goffstown District Court for allegedly threatening her husband with a knife. After reviewing the case, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to place the charge ON FILE WITHOUT A FINDING. The client avoided a conviction.

December 2012 Client charged with felony-level reckless conduct in Merrimack District Court for allegedly shooting his friend in the foot by accident. November 2012 Client charged with shoplifting in Hooksett District Court after being caught in the act. After negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to AVOID A CONVICTION for the client. This allowed him to keep his job.

November 2012 Attorney Keefe appeared before the Parole Board to represent the client in seeking release from the New Hampshire State Prison. After presenting evidence and witnesses, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the Parole Board to grant the client parole.

November 2012 Client charged in Nashua District Court with simple assault and criminal mischief after the client’s argument with his girlfriend. Attorney Keefe was able to have the charges DISMISSED, and this allowed the client to keep working and keep his home.

October 2012 Client charged with Possession of Marijuana in Keene District Court while on probation. After reviewing and analyzing the case, Attorney Keefe was able to resolve the case WITHOUT A CONVICTION and NO PROBATION VIOLATION.

October 2012 Client was arrested and charged with Escape in Manchester District Court. At his initial arraignment, Attorney Keefe was able to convince prosecutors to agree to personal recognizance bail so that the client would not be held in jail during the pendency of his case.

After cross-examining the arresting officer at the Administrative License Suspension hearing and locating several problems with the State’s case, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor to REDUCE THE CHARGE to Reckless Driving. October 2012 Client charged in Nashua District Court with Violation of a Protective Order and Stalking and held without bail. Attorney Keefe conducted an in-depth investigation after immediately meeting with the client. After detailed conversations with the prosecutor about his investigation, Attorney Keefe was able to have his client released from jail within one day.

October 2012 Client was convicted of several serious felonies when represented by another attorney. He hired Attorney Keefe as an expert in criminal defense law in order to prepare a report outlining how his prior attorney had failed to properly defend him at trial. After reviewing the trial transcript, Attorney Keefe located several key errors by the prior attorney that resulted in the verdict.

October 2012 Client charged with many felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug in several courts across the State. After meeting with the client and conducting an investigation into the client’s roommate, Attorney Keefe was able to convince prosecutors to DISMISS nearly all of the charges. October 2012 Client charged in federal court as part of a large-scale cocaine distribution conspiracy. After reviewing thousands of pages of police reports, and investigating the other individuals named in the case, Attorney Keefe met with federal prosecutor and agents to demonstrate the client’s innocense. After that meeting, ALL FEDERAL DRUG CHARGES WERE DISMISSED. The client was facing up to five years in a federal prison, and the case resulted in no conviction whatsoever.

October 2012 Client charged with various drug and assault felonies, as well as Arson, in Hillsborough County Superior Court. After many meetings with the client, reviewing all of the police reports, and preparing for trial, Attorney Keefe demonstrated to the prosecutor that convictions on the charges were not likely. Several of the CHARGES WERE DISMISSED and the others were REDUCED TO MISDEMEANORS. The client did not go to jail after facing a lengthy prison sentence, and he does not have a felony on his record.

After meeting with the client and conducting substantial legal research, Attorney Keefe filed a motion to suppress the search that lead to the client’s arrest. After discussing the legal merits of the search with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to DISMISS THE CHARGE.

September 2012 Client charged in the Merrimack District Court with Driving Under the Influence. After cross-examining the arresting officer at the Administrative License Suspension hearing and demonstrating significant problems with the case, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor to REDUCE THE CHARGE to Reckless Driving. The client AVOIDED A CRIMINAL CONVICTION and did not have to obtain an SR-22 on his insurance.

September 2012 Client was charged in the Hillsborough County Superior Court with driving as an Habitual Offender. Client had previously gone to prison for the same offense. After meeting the client, conducting an investigation, and researching the legality of the stop of the client’s vehicle, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor amend the charge. After looking at a state prison sentence of several years, the client RECEIVED NO JAIL TIME and NO LOSS OF LICENSE.

September 2012 Client charged in Nashua District Court with Simple Assault – Domestic Violence. Attorney Keefe met with the client, investigated all possible factual scenarios, and prepared a motion to dismiss for the pre-trial conference. Attorney Keefe appeared at the pre-trial conference, made his motion to dismiss, and the JUDGE GRANTED THE MOTION TO DISMISS. The client left court with no conviction and penalties whatsoever.

September 2012 Client charged in the Nashua District Court with several counts of Simple Assault – Domestic Violence. Attorney Keefe conducted an in-depth investigation into the allegations and was able to demonstrate the complaining witness was lying. Upon presenting the evidence he gathered to the prosecutor, the prosecutor chose to DISMISS THE CHARGES.

September 2012 Client was served with a restraining order and had to appear at the Nashua District Court for a hearing. Attorney Keefe met with the client and prepared the client to testify as well as cross-examine the complainant. After appearing in court and having a hearing, the judged DENIED THE RESTRAINING ORDER. The client was able to go back to his apartment and had no restrictions on his liberties.

September 2012 Client charged in the Nashua District Court with Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct. Attorney Keefe reviewed the witness statements and was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that the witnesses were not telling the truth and/or could not have seen what they alleged to have seen. As a result, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor PLACE ALL CHARGES ON FILE WITHOUT CONVICTION.

August 2012 Client was charged with several counts of Simple Assault – Domestic Violence in Manchester District Court. After investigating the case and working with the client prior to trial, Attorney Keefe appeared in court for trial where he had ALL CHARGES DISMISSED.

August 2012 Client charged with possession with the intent to distribute several pounds of marijuana after a motor vehicle stop and search of his car. After cross-examining the arresting officer during a hearing, and raising significant legal issues about the search of the client’s vehicle, Attorney Keefe was able to have the prosecutor agree to REDUCE THE CHARGE to possession of marijuana. The client served NO JAIL TIME and WAS NOT CONVICTED OF A FELONY.

August 2012 Client charged in Concord District Court with Criminal Mischief – Domestic Violence. The original bail conditions prohibited contact between the client and his fiancee. After a contested hearing before a judge, the court RULED IN FAVOR of the client and amended the bail conditions so the client could go home with his fiancee.

August 2012 Client charged in Rockingham County Superior Court with a probation violation for failing to appear for probation for several years. After a hearing before the judge, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the judge to TERMINATE PROBATION. The client was originally facing a year in jail for violating his probation, but after the hearing he WALKED OUT OF THE COURTHOUSE no longer on probation.

August 2012 Client charged with felony drug possession after the police found heroin and prescription medication in her car. Attorney Keefe conducted a vigorous investigation and was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that the heroin belonged to a passenger without the client knowing about it, and he was also able to demonstrate that the prescription medication belonged to the client’s mother. She WAS NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME and has no criminal record.

July 2012 Client charged in Nashua District Court with Operating After Suspension and faced a one-year license loss. After Attorney Keefe demonstrated to the prosecutors that the client was actually helping someone who could not drive herself, the prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to a violation-level Disorderly Conduct charge. The client received NO LICENSE LOSS and WAS NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME.

July 2012 Client charged with Simple Assault – Domestic Violence. After appearing for trial, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to place the charge on file without a finding after demonstrating the credibility issues of the complaining witness. The client was NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME.

July 2012 Client was injured in a car accident after being rear-ended at a stop light. Attorney Keefe brought suit, litigated the case, and prepared vigorously for mediation. After a day-long mediation, Attorney Keefe was able to obtain a SIX FIGURE SETTLEMENT for the client.

July 2012 Client was convicted in Massachusetts in 1989 while he was in high school for having consensual sex with his girlfriend. More than 25 years later, after moving to New Hampshire and having a good job and good family, the State of New Hampshire informed him he had to register as a sexual offender. Attorney Keefe brought forward a petition to challenge this, and after having a lengthy hearing before a judge, the court ruled that the client DID NOT NEED TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL OFFENDER.

July 2012 Client was charged in superior court with Second Degree Assault for allegedly placing his hands on another person’s throat. Attorney Keefe requested a hearing to show the judge that the person who complained to the police actually assaulted our client. The judge held the hearing and ruled that the person had assaulted our client. Attorney Keefe was then able to have the CHARGES REDUCED, and the client AVOIDED JAIL TIME and was able to keep his firearm.

June 2012 Client appeared for a deferred sentence hearing. He had plead guilty to another offense during the existence of the sentence, without counsel knowing about it, and the prosecutor at the deferred sentence hearing sought to send him to jail for six months. After a contested hearing in front of the judge in Nashua District Court, the judge made the client spend only one weekend in jail.

June 2012 Client was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Under age) by the Nashua Police Department. After reviewing the case, and cross-examining the officer at a pre-trial hearing, Attorney Keefe negotiated with the prosecutor to REDUCE THE CHARGE to Reckless Driving. The client avoided a substantial license loss, the requirement of an SR-22, and having to do an alcohol class.

June 2012 Client was indicted with felony Sale of a Controlled Drug in the Hillsborough County Superior Court alleging he sold five pounds of marijuana to an undercover officer. Attorney Keefe reviewed the case and filed a motion to suppress challenging the search warrant that lead to the client’s arrest. After the filing of that motion, the prosecutor agreed to not seek the lengthy prison sentence they wanted. The client DID NOT GO TO JAIL and has continued to live a productive life.

June 2012 Client was arrested by the Nashua Police Department for Simple Assault – Domestic Violence. Attorney Keefe appeared at the pre-trial conference and demonstrated to the prosecutors that the complaining witness’s version of events was not truthful. Prosecutors agreed to DISMISS the charge.

June 2012 Client was charged in Nashua District Court for Criminal Trespass and Attempted Robbery. After meeting with the client and his family, Attorney Keefe advised that the client enter an in-patient substance abuse program. When the matter went to court, the prosecutor and court agreed to DISMISS THE CHARGES because the client sought to address his substance problem.

June 2012 Client was charged in Manchester District Court with Simple Assault – Domestic Violence and Criminal Mischief. Attorney Keefe prepared the matter for trial as he advised the client he should not plead guilty to anything. After a trial, ALL OF THE CHARGES WERE DISMISSED.

June 2012 Client was indicted in the Hillsborough County Superior Court with felony Attempted Sexual Assault and a Computer Crime, and prosecutors sought a lengthy prison sentence. After demonstrating the client’s inability to commit the crime, and coordinating several experts to support this position, Attorney Keefe convinced prosecutors to DISMISS ALL CHARGES. The client avoided jail, all criminal convictions, and registering as a sexual offender.

June 2012 Client was a college student charged with Possession of Marijuana and Illegal Possession of Alcohol by the Merrimack Police Department. If convicted of the drug charge, client would have lost his college scholarship. After negotiating with prosecutors, Attorney Keefe was able to have the drug charge DISMISSED. This saved the client from having any criminal conviction, and he was allowed to keep his scholarship.

May 2012 Client was charged in the Nashua District Court with illegal possession of alcohol after a motor vehicle stop. After reviewing the police reports and speaking with the client, Attorney Keefe prepared and filed a motion to suppress arguing that the stop and search of the vehicle violated the client’s constitutional rights. The prosecutor subsequently agreed to place the charge on file without a finding, and the client received NO CONVICTION.

May 2012 Client was served with a request to renew a restraining order by a former girlfriend. Attorney Keefe requested a hearing and vigorously cross-examined the complainant about her allegations. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate to the judge that the complainant was not truthful, and the judge DENIED the restraining order.

May 2012 Client was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. After reviewing all of the police reports and conducting a lengthy cross-examination of the arresting officer at a pre-trial hearing, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that the State would likely not obtain a conviction on DWI. The prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to Reckless Driving, and the client avoided a significant license loss, an SR 22, and having to do the alcohol class.

May 2012 Client was charged in the Nashua District Court with a Possession of a Controlled Drug and Illegal Possession of Alcohol. After reviewing the police reports and speaking with the client, Attorney Keefe prepared and filed a motion to suppress the search that lead to the drug charge. As a result, the prosecutor DISMISSED the drug charge, and the client received NO CRIMINAL CONVICTION.

April 2012 Client was indicted for several felony sexual assaults in the Hillsborough County Superior Court. After spending months preparing for trial, Attorney Keefe and the client arrived for jury selection ready for trial. The prosecutor wanted felony convictions and a lengthy prison term. In the face of this, the prosecutor agreed to reduce the charges to one single misdemeanor offense to which the client had already admitted. The client received NO FELONY CONVICTION and NO JAIL TIME.

April 2012 Client appeared in the Nashua District Court for a deferred sentence hearing after being arrested during the deferred sentence. Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor and the judge that the client should not go to jail, and the client walked out of the courtroom that with NO JAIL TIME.

April 2012 Client was federally indicted for a robbery with a firearm, and federal prosecutors sought to have him incarcerated before trial. After requesting a hearing before the judge, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the judge that the client should be released pending trial. He was able to leave the courtroom that day to go home to his family.

April 2012 Client was indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court for allegedly stealing more than $25,000.00 from her employer and admitted to much of the thefts prior to retaining counsel. The prosecutor wanted a felony conviction and jail time. After reviewing all of the evidence and meeting extensively with the client, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor and the judge to REDUCE THE CHARGE to a misdemeanor and that NO JAIL TIME was appropriate.

April 2012 Client was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and refused the breath test. As a result, the Nashua Police sought to suspend his license for six months for this refusal. Attorney Keefe requested a hearing at the Department of Motor Vehicles to challenge this suspension. After Attorney Keefe’s cross-examination of the officer at the hearing, the client received NO LICENSE LOSS and he won the hearing.

April 2012 Client was charged with multiple felony counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug. After reviewing the case with the client and the prosecutors at the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office, Attorney Keefe was able to have ALL FELONY CHARGES DISMISSED. The client received no other charges or convictions, and he was able to successfully move on in his life.

March 2012 Client was served with a domestic violence restraining order. After requesting a hearing within 5 days, Attorney Keefe vigorously cross-examined the complainant during a hearing before a judge and demonstrated to the judge that the restraining order was sought without merit. The order was removed.

March 2012 Client was charged by the Nashua Police Department with a felony sexual assault. Attorney Keefe requested a probable cause hearing wherein he cross-examined the lead detective in the case. By doing so, he was able to develop incredibly strong evidence that would later cause the case to be DISMISSED. He was also able to demonstrate to the prosecutors that the complaining witness was likely lying about the allegations.

March 2012 Client sought a restraining order against an ex-girlfriend who harassed and assaulted the client after the break up. After a hearing wherein Attorney Keefe demonstrated to the judge by cross-examination that the opposing party was lying, the judge ruled in favor of our client and GRANTED the restraining order.

March 2012 Client was charged by the New Hampshire State Police with Issue False Prescriptions for Oxycontin. After meeting with the investigating detective, Attorney Keefe was able to have the FELONY CHARGES DISMISSED.

March 2012 Client was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Drug, and the Nashua Police seized $25,000.00 from him. Attorney Keefe was able to have the money returned to the client. When he appeared at trial with the client, Attorney Keefe pointed out to the prosecutor that the alleged drugs had never been tested at the State Lab, and the charge was subsequently DISMISSED.

March 2012 Clients were charged by the Nashua Police Department with Prostitution. After reviewing the case with the clients, and conducting a large amount of legal research, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutor to place the charges on file without a finding. Clients received NO CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS

March 2012 Client was arrested by the Nashua Police Department for the felony offense of Possession with the Intent to Distribute. The arrest resulted from the search of the client’s backpack after a motor vehicle stop. After reviewing the police reports and conducting thorough legal research, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that the search of the client’s backpack may not have been legal. The prosecutor agreed to REDUCE THE CHARGE to a misdemeanor offense of possession of marijuana.

March 2012 Client was charged by the New Hampshire Drug Task Force with four counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug for selling to an undercover officer and Possession with Intent to Distribute. The prosecutor sought to send the client to prison for more than two years. After a thorough review of the case with the client, an aggressive investigation, and legal research, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the judge the client should not spend one day in jail. The client walked out of the courtroom that day with NO JAIL TIME.

March 2012 Client was charged by the Nashua Police Department with several felonies (Robbery and Possession of a Controlled Drug), and was facing a substantial amount of jail time. After negotiating with prosecutors, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGES REDUCED to misdemeanors, and the client received NO JAIL TIME.

March 2012 Client was charged in the Nashua District Court with two counts of Stalking, Harassment, and three counts of Simple Assault. After a trial before a judge, Attorney Keefe was able to have ALL SIX CHARGES DISMISSED. The client walked out of the courtroom with NO CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS.

March 2012 Client was charged with the felonies of Conspiracy to Sell a Controlled Drug and Sale of a Controlled Drug. Prosecutors sought a lengthy prison term for the client. After reviewing the police reports and believing the search of the client’s vehicle was illegal, Attorney Keefe prepared and filed a motion to suppress the evidence in the case. At the time of the hearing on the motion to suppress, instead of going forward on the motion, the prosecutor agreed to a disposition to the case that involved NO JAIL TIME. The client left the courtroom that day and is doing well in college.

March 2012 Client was charged by the Nashua Police Department with Driving While Intoxicated. After reviewing the police reports and conducting an investigation, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charge reduced to Reckless Driving. Further, Attorney Keefe was able to avoid an Administrative License Suspension for the client.

March 2012 Client was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug and Unlawful Possession of Alcohol. After demonstrating the illegal nature of the search that lead to the drug charge, Attorney Keefe was able to have that charge DISMISSED.

February 2012 Client was charged in federal court with Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Drugs. After reviewing all of the police reports, Attorney Keefe believed the search of the client’s vehicle violated his constitutional rights. As such, Attorney Keefe researched and prepared a lengthy motion to suppress asking the court to throw out all of the evidence the police obtained from searching the client and his vehicle.

February 2012 Client was driving a vehicle involved a high-speed race when the vehicle crashed injuring several people. After reviewing the matter with the client and conducting an aggressive investigation, Attorney Keefe was able to prevent the client from being charged with a felony, and the case was resolved as a violation-level (NOT CRIMINAL) offense of Reckless Driving. The client did not have a criminal conviction, and he avoided any possible jail time.

February 2012 Client was serving a sentence at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men. He was eligible for parole, but several members of the parole board did not want to see him released. After coordinating a large amount of information, Attorney Keefe was able to successfully argue to the parole board that the client should be released. Our client was released and is succeeding on parole.

February 2012 Client was arrested by the Manchester Police Department and charged in the Hillsborough County Superior Court with Second Degree Assault for allegedly punching someone in the face causing substantial injury. After contesting complaining witness’s version of events, and locating defense witnesses, Attorney Keefe was able to have the case DISMISSED.

February 2012 Client was charged with violation of probation alleging several driving and drug offenses. Attorney Keefe successfully argued to the judge and the probation officer that a prison sentence was inappropriate and the treatment was the most important thing to the client. After hearing arguments, the judge ordered the client into drug treatment, and Attorney Keefe kept her from going to prison.

February 2012 Client was charged with Operating After Suspension by the Nashua Police Department. After demonstrating the extenuating circumstances to the prosecutor, and pointing out the legal problems in the case, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charge reduced to the violation-level (NOT CRIMINAL) offense of Disorderly Conduct. The client avoided a criminal conviction on his record as well as a substantial additional license loss.

February 2012 Client was indicted with various felony sexual assaults by the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office. The prosecutor sought to have the client held on $100,000.00 cash-only bail. After a bail hearing wherein Attorney Keefe argued against setting such a high bail, the judge ordered that bail be set at an amount the client could post. After the hearing, the client posted bail, was released from jail, and began working with Attorney Keefe on his defense.

January 2012 Client was arrested by the Nashua Police Department for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. After negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charged placed on file without a finding (NO CONVICTION). The client successfully completed a parenting class, and the charge was ultimately DISMISSED.

January 2012 Client ran a driving school and was ordered to appear for a hearing at the Department of Motor Vehicles to determine whether she needed a medical evaluation to be a driving instructor. After a contested hearing, Attorney Keefe was able successfully defeat the allegation. The client did not require a medical evaluation to continue driving or operate a driving school.

January 2012 Client was charged in the Concord District Court by the New Hampshire State Police with Unsworn Falsification and Tampering with Public Records. After negotiations with the prosecutor, the first charge was placed on file without a finding (NO CONVICTION), and the second charge was dismissed by the prosecutor. The first charge was subsequently dismissed as well.

January 2012 Client was charged by the Nashua Police Department with Prostitution after she was arrested in a sting operation. After demonstrating to the prosecutor the client’s drug addiction and unfortunate life circumstances, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE REDUCED to a violation-level (non-criminal) offense of Disorderly Conduct. The client then completed a substance abuse evaluation, and she does not have a criminal record.

January 2012 Client was charged with a felony sexual assault in the Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua. After reviewing all of the police reports, Attorney Keefe believed that the State possessed additional important information. He filed a motion to require it to produce this information, and after a contested hearing before the trial judge, Attorney Keefe successfully obtained the records that were vital to the client’s defense.

January 2012 Client was charged with Driving While Intoxicated by the Nashua Police Department. After negotiating with the prosecutor and pointing out the factual and legal weaknesses in the case, Attorney Keefe was able to have the CHARGE REDUCED to Reckless Driving. The client had NO CRIMINAL CONVICTION, avoided a substantial license loss, and did not have to obtain an SR-22.

January 2012 Client was on federal probation. After being arrested for many alleged violations of her conditions of probation, Attorney Keefe requested a hearing to challenge those violations and the federal government’s attempt to have our client serve more time in federal prison. After the hearing, Attorney Keefe was able to have the client released from jail and have almost all of the alleged violations dismissed.

December 2011 Client charged by the Hudson Police Department with Simple Assault – Domestic Violence for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. After reviewing the facts of the case with the client, and conducting his own investigation, Attorney Keefe was able to have the case DISMISSED. The client suffered NO CONVICTION.

December 2011 Client was on bail for a felony Possession of a Controlled Drug charge and was arrested on several felony charges of Sale of a Controlled Drug. The prosecutor sought to revoke the client’s bail and him go to jail until the time of his trial. At a hearing before a judge, Attorney Keefe was able to convince not to revoke the client’s bail, and the client never spent any time in jail.

December 2011 Client was charged in the Nashua District Court with Simple Assault and Reckless Conduct. After an aggressive investigation into the allegations, Attorney Keefe made a motion to dismiss the case. After arguing the motion before a judge, the court DISMISSED ALL CHARGES against the client.

December 2011 Client charged in Milford District Court with Possession of Marijuana after a motor vehicle stop. After reviewing all of the police reports with the client, Attorney Keefe was able to discover a possible constitutional violation during the officer’s interaction with the client. He was able to use this discovery as leverage in order to reduce the charge to a violation-level (NOT CRIMINAL) motor vehicle offense.

December 2011 Client was stopped by the Hollis Police Department, and they found several pounds of marijuana in his car. Attorney Keefe challenged the legality of the motor vehicle stop both at a probable cause hearing and then at a suppression hearing. As a result of the Attorney Keefe’s cross-examination of the officer’s testimony, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the prosecutors to dismiss the charge.

December 2011 Client was charged in the Nashua District Court with Disobeying an Officer, Driving Without Giving Proof, and Operation After Suspension. The client faced jail time, a significant license loss, and heavy fines. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate the extremely mitigating factual circumstances of the client’s life to prosecutors, and thereby have the charge reduced to a violation-level (NOT CRIMINAL) offense. The client served NO JAIL TIME and did not have pay a fine.

December 2011 Client was stopped by the Salem Police Department, and they located several pounds of marijuana in his car. He was charged with the felony of Possession With the Intent to Distribute. After challenging the legality of the officer’s stop and search of the client’s car, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charge reduced to a misdemeanor level offense of Possession of Marijuana.

December 2011 Client received notice from the Department of Motor Vehicles to appear for an Habitual Offender hearing wherein it would be determined that he would lose his license from one to four years. Attorney Keefe investigated the client’s driving record, and he convinced a prosecutor and judge to amend one of the client’s driving offenses so that he no longer qualified as an Habitual Offender. The client received NO LICENSE LOSS, and he saved himself thousands of dollars in lost income.

November 2011 Young client was charged with murder and could not afford an attorney. Attorneys Keefe and Wilson agreed to defend this young woman pro bono through a month-long trial where the prosecutors sought to have her go to prison for 35 years. After a trial, after discrediting many of the State’s witnesses, the attorneys were able to obtain a sentence much greater than that sought by the prosecutors.

October 2011 Client was notified by the State of New Hampshire that he had to register on a public list as a sexual offender for something that happened more than 20 years earlier while he was in high school. After a thorough investigation and research, and filing of a emergency temporary restraining order, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the proper authorities that our client should not have to register on a public list as a sexual offender. This thereby saved our client the embarrassment and associated problems of having to register on such a list.

October 2011 Client was charged with the New Hampshire Drug Task Force with multiple counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug, and the Attorney General’s Office sought to have him held on $100,000.00 cash-only bail. After a contested bail hearing, Attorney Keefe was able to have our client’s BAIL REDUCED so that he could get out of jail and leave New Hampshire to be with his family prior to trial.

October 2011 Client was originally arrested by the Nashua Police Department for the felony Reckless Conduct after allegedly firing a gun towards a group of people. After Attorney Keefe had the charge reduced to a misdemeanor Criminal Mischief, the client was to pay substantial restitution for property damage. Due to financial difficulties, the client was not able to pay the full amount of restitution as required by the court. The prosecutor sought to have our client to jail for this. However, after a contested hearing, Attorney Keefe was able to convince the judge not to send our client jail and allow him to finish paying restitution.

October 2011 Client was arrested by the Nashua Police Department charging him with a violent sexual assault of a purported stranger. Our client maintained his innocence. The prosecutors sought to have our client held on $100,000.00 cash bail, but Attorney Keefe was able to convince the judge to reduce bail so that our client could be released. Attorney Keefe then pushed for prompt probable cause hearing wherein he planned to challenge the State’s evidence, as well as the interrogation of our client, and demonstrate our client’s innocense. Instead of going forward with the probable cause hearing, the State DISMISSED the felony charge against our client.

September 2011 Client was stopped by the Salem Police Department for speeding. After a search of the vehicle, our client was charged with the felony possession with intent to distribute a controlled drug. After demonstrating to the prosecutor that the search of vehicle may have been illegal, Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor to agree to resolve the matter with a misdemeanor possession of marijuana offense along with a fine. After being charged with a felony and facing a possible state prison sentence, the client WAS NOT CONVICTED OF A FELONY and he received NO JAIL TIME.

September 2011 Client was charged by the Nashua Police Department with burglary of a residential home. After demonstrating to the prosecutor the legal deficiencies with the state’s case to sustain a charge of burglary, Attorney Keefe was able to reduce the charge to a non-criminal offense where the client received only community service. After being charged with a felony and facing a possible state prison sentence, the client WAS NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME and he received NO JAIL TIME.

September 2011 Client was charged by the Lyndeborough Police Department with Operating After Suspension. After investigating the matter with the client, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charge DISMISSED after demonstrating that the client’s license was improperly suspended.

September 2011 Client was arrested by the Derry Police Department for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and refused to take the breath test. As a result of refusing the breath test, our client may have lost his license for six (6) months. Attorney Keefe requested a hearing at the Department of Motor Vehicles to challenge this suspension. At that hearing, Attorney Keefe cross-examined the officer and demonstrated to the hearing examiner that the officer did not have sufficient reason to request a breath test. The client received NO LICENSE LOSS.

September 2011 Client was arrested by the Nashua Police Department for Operating After Suspension subsequent to a DUI. Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate to the prosecutor that our client’s license was eligible for reinstatement, the charge was reduced to a non-criminal offense with a fine. After facing a mandatory jail sentence and further license loss, the client WAS NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME, received NO JAIL TIME, and received NO LICENSE LOSS.

September 2011 Client was arrested by the Bedford Police Department for second degree assault alleging that he intentionally struck someone with a vehicle. The police also charged him with false report of an accident. After reviewing the police reports and conducting an investigation into the case, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charges reduced to a non-criminal offense along with a fine. After being charged with a felony and facing a state prison sentence, the client WAS NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME and received NO JAIL TIME.

August 2011 Client was stopped by the Londonderry Police Department for a motor vehicle infraction. After running a license check, the police officer learned that the client’s license was suspended, and our client was arrested for Operating After Suspension. After appearing in the Derry District Court and establishing that the client did not know his license was suspended, Attorney Keefe had the case DISMISSED.

August 2011 Police were called to client’s house after his ex-girlfriend illegally entered his house and he physically removed her after telling her to leave. She called the police and accused our client of assault, and the Nashua Police Department arrested our client based upon this accusation. Our client protested during his arrest, and he was charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence and Resisting Arrest. After negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to have the prosecutor agree to DISMISS both charges.

August 2011 Client’s ex-girlfriend accused him of various forms of assault to include punching her, strangler her, and pushing her into a lamp. She filed a Domestic Violence Petition against him in the Nashua District Court. After a hearing on that petition, Attorney Keefe had the petition DISMISSED.

July 2011 Client was arrested and charged in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire with conspiring in a massive identity fraud case involving illegal immigrants. Specifically she was charged with providing false information on New Hampshire driver’s license applications for other people. After negotiations with the United State’s Attorney’s Office and sentencing hearing, Attorney Keefe was able to obtain a sentence of NO JAIL TIME for the client where other co-defendants were sentenced to multiple years in jail or prison.

July 2011 Client was stopped for a lane violation, and the Concord Police Department arrested her Driving While Intoxicated. The State sought to suspend Client’s license for six months for refusing to take the breathalyzer test. The officer did not appear at the Administrative License Suspension hearing, and the prosecutor sought to continue the hearing so the officer could appear. After making arguments, Attorney Keefe successfully had the matter DISMISSED, and Client did not lose her license.

July 2011 Client was involved in a single car motor vehicle accident, and the Milford Police Department sought to suspend his license indefinitely alleging that a medical condition caused the accident. Attorney Keefe challenged this attempt at suspension, and after a hearing at the Department of Safety, Client received NO LOSS OF LICENSE.

July 2011 Client was charged with approximately $100,000.00 Theft by Unauthorized Taking by the Amherst Police Department alleging that he, as landlord of a commercial property, stole the renter’s business property. After a thorough factual and legal investigation, Attorney Keefe was able to demonstrate that the charge was factually and legally insufficient. The charge was subsequently DISMISSED.

June 2011 Teenage Client was charged with Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault for allegedly having a consensual sexual relationship with another teenager. After an extensive investigation and negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe had the charge DISMISSED. Client did not receive any criminal conviction or sanction, and he did not have to register as a sexual offender.

June 2011 Immigrant Client was charged by the Nashua Police Department with several counts of Receiving Stolen Property for allegedly buying property from an undercover officer during a sting operation that was supposedly stolen. After thorough legal research, to include immigration consequences, Attorney Keefe was able to negotiation with the prosecutor and have the charges reduced to one count of Disorderly Conduct, and Client did not face any jail time, felony convictions, or immigration consequences.

June 2011 Client was served with a Domestic Violence Petition seeking a restraining order alleging that he stalked his ex-girlfriend and assaulted her child. Attorney Keefe conducted an exhaustive factual investigation, and he and Client appeared at the hearing ready to fight the allegations in the petition. After appearing in the Merrimack District Court at the hearing, the Court DISMISSED the petition.

June 2011 Client charged with a Computer Crime and Attempted Felonious Sexual Assault by the Nashua Police Department. After reviewing the evidence, Attorney Keefe filed a Motion to Suppress evidence obtained from Client’s email account held with America Online. After a hearing in Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District, Attorney Keefe convinced the Court to SUPPRESS the evidence.

June 2011 Client was stopped on the Everett Turnpike by the New Hampshire State Police for a lane violation. After Client passed a series of field sobriety tests, the trooper searched the vehicle where he allegedly found marijuana. Client was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug. Attorney Keefe filed in the Nashua District Court a Motion to Suppress the search of Client’s car arguing that the search was illegal. After appearing in court, the case was DISMISSED.

June 2011 Client was charged with Criminal Trespass by the Nashua Police Department and Writing Bad Checks by the Amherst Police Department for acts that allegedly occurred in 2003. After an investigation by Attorney Keefe, as well as negotiations with prosecutors in both cases, Attorney Keefe was able to have all charges DISMISSED.

June 2011 Client was served with a Domestic Violence Petition wherein his estranged wife sought to have a restraining order issued against him alleging various of acts of Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief. After appearing in Merrimack District Court and negotiating with opposing counsel, Attorney Keefe convinced the plaintiff to WITHDRAW the petition. No restraining order issued.

June 2011 Client arrested by the Nashua Police Department charging him with felonies of Theft by Unauthorized Taking, Possession of a Controlled Drug and a misdemeanor Simple Assault. After conducting an investigation and negotiating with prosecutors, Attorney Keefe had the charges DISMISSED, and a reduced charge of Disorderly Conduct entered. Client was on parole at the time of the incident, and Attorney Keefe was able to keep Client’s parole from being violated.

May 2011 Client arrested by the Henniker Police Department and charged in the Henniker District Court with Illegal Possession of Alcohol. Attorney Keefe filed a Motion to Suppress the illegal administration of a preliminary breath test. After that, Attorney Keefe entered into negotiations with the prosecutor wherein the charge was continued to be DISMISSED.

May 2011 Client arrested by the Nashua Police Department and charged in the Nashua District Court with Possession of a Controlled Drug after the Nashua Police Department stopped his vehicle and searched it. Attorney Keefe filed a Motion to Suppress the illegal search of Client’s car. After filing that motion, and subsequent negotiations with the prosecutor, the charge was continued to be DISMISSED.

May 2011 Client was in a single car motor vehicle accident. The Nashua Police Department arrested Client after allegedly smelling alcohol on her and seeing other signs of alcohol impairment and charged her with Driving While Intoxicated and Resisting Arrest. Attorney Keefe challenged the sufficiency of evidence for both charges, and negotiations with the prosecutor resulted the Resisting Arrest charge being dismissed and DWI charge being reduced to Reckless Operation.

May 2011 Client was arrested by the Merrimack Police Department and charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug after the Merrimack Police Department allegedly observed Client engage in a drug transaction and then searched his vehicle. Attorney Keefe filed a Motion to Suppress arguing that the search of Client’s vehicle was illegal. After filing this motion, and entering into negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe had the charge conditionally DISMISSED.

May 2011 Client was served with a Petition for a Restraining Order and ordered to appear in the Nashua District Court. The plaintiff contacted the Nashua Police Department and accused Client of sexually assaulting her and stalking her. Attorney Keefe appeared at the hearing on the Restraining Order and challenged all of the plaintiff’s allegations. At the hearing, the petition was DISMISSED and no criminal charges were filed.

April 2011 Client was investigated by Manchester Police Department for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery alleging that he was involved in a string of violent robberies of a bank and various drug stores. After meeting with federal prosecutors, Attorney Keefe was able to convince them not to pursue charges against Client where others received sentence of 10 to 35 years in federal prison.

April 2011 Juvenile Client charged with Criminal Mischief in the Merrimack District Court after being arrested by the Bedford Police Department for allegedly causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to a home with his friends. After reviewing the evidence and entering into negotiations with the prosecutor, Attorney Keefe was able to have the charge continued to be DISMISSED.

April 2011 Client arrested by the Concord Police Department and charged in the Concord District Court with Simple Assault for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend during an argument. Attorney Keefe prepared the case for trial and appeared with Client ready to challenge all of the State’s evidence. Before the trial began, Attorney Keefe moved to dismiss the case for lack of prosecution, and the Court DISMISSED the case.

March 2011 Client was arrested by the Hudson Police Department and charged with Conduct After an Accident in the Nashua District Court. The police alleged that after a minor traffic accident, Client left the scene. After conducting an investigation, Attorney Keefe convinced prosecutors to have the charge continued to be DISMISSED.

March 2011 Client was stopped by the New Hampshire State Police on the Everett Turnpike for a lane violation and ultimately charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Drug and lesser traffic offenses. Attorney Keefe filed a Motion to Suppress the search of Client’s person that resulted in his arrest for the drug charge, and that charge was subsequently DISMISSED.

March 2011 Young client arrested by the Milford Police Department and charged with Felonious Sexual Assault for allegedly engaging in consensual sexual contact with teenage girls. At his bail hearing, the State sought to have him held on $50,000.00 cash only bail. After appearing at the bail hearing and arguing before the judge, Attorney Keefe was able to have Client released on his personal recognizance.

February 2011 Teenage Client was driving her car with several friends as passengers when she was involved in a traffic accident. The Merrimack Police Department arrested her with Vehicular Assault alleging that her actions caused the accident that resulted in severe injuries to a passenger. Attorney Keefe brought the case to trial in the Merrimack District Court. During the trial, the judge stopped the trial, and the charge was reduced to Reckless Operation.

February 2011 Client’s ex-girlfriend filed Domestic Violence Petition in the Merrimack District Court seeking a restraining order against client alleging that he threatened to kill the plaintiff on multiple occasions. Attorney Keefe conducted an extensive investigation and appeared at the hearing ready to challenge all of the plaintiff’s claims. After the plaintiff heard the challenges to be offered by Attorney Keefe, she WITHDREW her request for a restraining order. No restraining order issued.

February 2011 Client arrested by the New Hampshire Drug Task Force and charged with multiple felony counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug alleging that he sold thousands of dollars worth of Oxycontin to an undercover officer. After getting Client into substance abuse treatment, Attorney Keefe was able to convince prosecutors to agree to a sentence of NO JAIL TIME.

February 2011 Client was stopped by the New Hampshire State Police for speeding on Route 93. After the stop, the trooper searched Client’s personal possessions and allegedly found cocaine and marijuana. Client was ultimately charged with a felony and misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Drug. Attorney Keefe convinced the prosecutor that the search of Client’s personal possession was possibly illegal, and the charges were reduced to Possession of a Controlled Drug in a Motor Vehicle.

January 2011 Client was sued by a contractor alleging that he failed to pay the contractor the full amount for the work performed. Client adamantly denied this allegation, and Attorney Keefe aggressively defended the Client through the final hearing. After the hearing, Attorney Keefe moved to dismiss the claim, and the Court DISMISSED the claim.

January 2011 Client arrested by the Litchfield Police Department and charged with two counts of Criminal Threatening for allegedly threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend during a phone call. Attorney Keefe conducted a very extensive investigation, and he brought the case to trial in the Merrimack District Court. After a lengthy trial, the judge found Client NOT GUILTY of all charges.

January 2011 Client was arrested by the Salem Police Department and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Drug and Receiving Stolen Property. Attorney Keefe investigated the matter and entered into negotiations with the prosecutor. As a result, Attorney Keefe had the charges reduced to misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Drug, and Client received NO JAIL TIME.

January 2011 Client entered into a contract to sell his convenience store to his landlord. After much negotiation, they agreed on a price. The landlord failed to pay the full price, and Attorney Keefe brought suit for payment. After substantial discovery, the case went to trial in Nashua District Court. Due to Attorney Keefe’s cross-examination of the landlord, the Court found in favor of the Client and awarded him FULL PAYMENT on the contract as well as ATTORNEY’S FEES.

January 2011 Client was arrested by the Nashua Police Department and charged with two counts of Simple Assault and one count of Criminal Mischief alleging that he assaulted his former girlfriend and broke her personal property. After reviewing all of the police reports, and filing a motion to prevent the complaining witness from testifying, Attorney Keefe convinced prosecutors to DISMISS the charges.
