Attorney Charles Keefe of Wilson, Bush & Keefe, P.C. law firm in Nashua has been hired to represent Wihby, who also resigned as state director for Sen. Kelly Ayotte in the wake of his arrest.

“At this time, my client respectfully enters a plea of not guilty and waives arraignment,” Keefe wrote in court documents. “Please note, the defendant hereby asserts his right to a speedy trial.”

A pretrial conference has been scheduled for June 23, according to a court clerk.
